Music Thread (post a song)

I’ve listened to a lot of folk music in my time, and I’ll be damned if this isn’t as close to the perfect folk song as it gets:

 

Huge hit in the summer of 66
In Detroit, Jersey and nowhere else

Detroit’s own Romantics did a terrific cover

 

Volvo uses this pulsating song in its new commercial for the C40 electric car.

Kavinsky is the credited musician. One of the guys from Daft Punk is the other musician. It's part of the Drive soundtrack

 

It really is a grower. I did not dig it for a good 10 listens. Now really into it.

 

Arcade Fire releases its first album in five years. Five listens in and I already know it is better than Everything Now. It’s not a high bar to clear.

Was interested in the Peter Gabriel cameo, but it turns out to be the worst song on the album.
