I was young and dumb, too. And I can't believe I didn't get someone pregnant back then.

I would have thought the same things you did. Regrets and guilt, all that stuff.

Thanks for your post. Life often demands sudden, difficult decisions, and I say abortion rarely is a "convenience."

Again, that a professional radical feminist provocateuse provoked a lot of folks with a demonstrably provocative tweet seems standard for these national cultural debates.

That we're condemning her 'attitude' seems pretty on-brand, too.

OK, she enjoyed having sex and became pregnant several times. Why is she obligated to obey your definition of responsibility?

They want to kill women. It's no longer just an unfortunate aspect of making abortion illegal. It's the point.
An ectopic pregnancy is a death sentence.

Maybe her comments were just careless, but man, they sound like someone saying the quiet part out loud.

Forcing women to go through pregnancies they don't want and take care of babies they don't want sure seems to be part of the agenda.

This idea that any woman who gets pregnant without wanting to must be the kind of idiot who would choose to raise it out of pure laziness is reflective of the lack of respect for women that permeates the anti-choice movement. Sadly, there are far too many women like Write who seem to go right along with it.

Those women are mostly why Hillary lost, IMHO.

I think James Comey was more responsible, but they certainly played a big part in putting Trump on the throne.

What do you get when a woman has a baby who doesn’t want it?

Not my place to tell any woman what to do
But Republicans love kids as long as they’re in the womb
Once they’re out they are on their own
