Jrue is good at a lot of things. He’s fucking exceptional at one: picking a dude’s pocket. What was the endgame there? A lockout to Tatum or Brown? Or a straight iso for a 3?

What's the deal with these 30 point routs? Are we in the "well, we know it's going to go six or seven games in any event (cough, referees)" stage of the playoffs?

Or maybe now that its' "official" - Mike Brown just wants to get used to getting blown out.

They have a hundred and fucking 19 after 36 minutes. That's anyone-against-the-'80s-Nuggets-level ball.

The Warriors lack of effort, lack of urgency, lack of attention to detail was so bad that I lost a lot of desire to root for them. Why root hard if the team is going to play like that? They had 10 TOS and 13 shot attempts in 2nd quarter and then played D so badly and made no effort to box out. Just disheartening.

So many ugly performances down the stretch, an absolute stinker seemed inevitable.

I think Smart was supposed to advance the ball to Brown or Tatum. It seemed like a good play, too. Brown had just come open and Tatum was w i d e open after two Bucks got tangled with each other by mid-court. Tatum would have been a tough pass (and Giannis might have closed on him), but Brown was there.

I almost feel bad for Smart. He'd played an excellent game until the last minute. For all the caping the smahtest, most loyal fans in spahts do for the guy, they sure turned on him quickly after the game. The contrast between Jrue making plays to win a basketball game versus WiNnInG pLayZ was evident in the final stretch and it broke their collective brain.
