Christ. I didn't "whine" about Guentzel. Guentzel is fine. Guentzel has zero to do with this, which was my point. Just as the endless bullshit you were throwing into your posts had nothing to do with that play.

Trouba doesn't have previous history that proves whatever you think it does. You were pointing to a suspension years ago. It has zero to do with what happened there. Kris Letang has been suspended more times than Trouba. Malkin has too. And that has nothing to do with what happened on that play either.

Yes, you did whine about Guentzel.

Yes, Trouba has thrown dirty elbows before. I'm not saying he does it all the time. I'm saying he did it with his team in desperation mode. As I posted earlier, I know you want the story to be a great comeback by your team. It isn't. At best, the story is that the Rangers win because Crosby got hurt in a series that the Penguins were already without their All-Star goaltender and No. 2 defenseman. At worst, from a Rangers perspective, New York wins because Trouba played dirty when the team needed to take out Crosby to have a chance.

I'm pretty sure I posted that a few months ago when I saw 'em in person - Backstrom has taken a noticeable step back this year, even to my untrained eye.

My perception is they're basically stuck, and I'll be shocked if its not a few years of upper-tier mediocrity while we watch to see how many goals Ovi can score.

Listen through to what Bieksa says about how you wouldn't lead with your stick hand if you are throwing an elbow to someone's head.

Why would OOP do that? OOP knows all. His brain doesn’t work like that.

He's still an elite passer, but his skating is way slower and he's become a total liability at the dot. Maybe a full offseason helps and he comes back and surprises next year, but I'm not banking on it.

    Answer the question Forrest.

what did you think of the Oshie hit on Bennett?

Unless you saw the opportunity at the last moment and pushed the elbow out, which is exactly what Trouba did.

Hockey guys defined this shit. Even the Penguins' coach will only hint at it being a dirty play. I understand your argument. It just isn't accurate.

Bubba, compared to you, my neighbor's yappy little dog is an expert.
