Of course, it goes into overtime. Of course, the Rangers get the tying goal after a play that leaves the Penguins calling for a penalty. (It wasn't. The Rangers made a nice play after Marino made a poor decision trying to pass the puck up the middle of his own zone.)

    Damnit.

It was fixed. The league made Shesterkin stand on his head.

    the Pens got goalied.

No, the Penguins got robbed of Games 5 and 6 by a dirty hit that gave Shesterkin the opportunity to win it in Game 7. If Trouba doesn't take Crosby out with the elbow to the head, the Penguins win the series in five games. They had a 2-0 lead and a rattled Shesterkin. I guess you're going to tell me Crosby wouldn't have made a difference in either of those. For someone who claims to be an expert on hockey, you really have no clue what you are talking about.

What did you think of the Zadorov hit?

It's all mud to you, Montag. Go troll someone else. The Rangers turned to head-hunting in a series they were about to lose and it worked. Bully for them.

It is a hell of a way to end this era with the Penguins. Letang and Malkin are both unrestricted free agents. Those two have played with Crosby since Letang's rookie season, 2006-07. I can't imagine they keep that core together again.

Can you even name those players?

Remember the old Southeast Division, also known as the SouthLeast?

Three of the four left in the East are alums. Guess they needed to break it up after all.

If there’s any justice, Gaudreau scores the winning goal.
