I wasn’t sure after the first two dozen tweets posted here, but now I’m finally convinced! He’s not a good guy!

Can we stop picking at this human scab who resides somewhere slightly above Hatman on the Shaping Human Events scale?

    If only.

Nearly 3 million Twitter followers*, several bestselling books and, according to the New Yorker, "one of the most influential—and polarizing—public intellectuals in the English-speaking world."

    Jordan Peterson’s Gospel of Masculinity

He's also a pretty good poster boy for the very thing being discussed here - the male gaze.

*Just looked. His leading title sold 5 million copies. Also has 5 million You Tube subscribers. 3.7 million Instagram followers.

Jordan Peterson, who struggled to land a starting quarterback role, blew himself up on Twitter today....

I'd never heard of this guy til people here started linking to his tweets. Did the RNC buy millions of his books like they did with Don Jr.?

And I love how it's become a competition to see who can be the most sensitive sunflower on a message board.

Yeahhhh ... I think that post will stand up.

Still not clear on why you think this has anything to do with sensitivity.

    I don't think so.

    Peterson is the incel whisperer.

His grift is to repurpose advice from the Boy Scout Handbook into some sort of 21st century pilgrims' guide for the low-T male.

Be loyal, be honorable, use a washcloth and soap, make the bed, etc.

On the one hand, these are reasonable instructions for living. On the other, that anyone over 8 years old needs these instructions is not only mind boggling, but heartbreaking.

And like Clay Travis and Joe Rogan lots of collarpopping young betas have turned to him. In part because Peterson blames women for how these men turned out.

Which is why his critique of Yumi Nu - and his super-sensitive (there it is!) - klonopin and cowardice bailout from Twitter is worth talking about.

If looking at half-naked young women is what the far-left is these days....

Edit: Complaining about this is like complaining how the New Yorker never runs the traditional Eustace Tilly cover anymore. I'm a subscriber but seriously, who cares?
