    You hate to see it!

But seriously, I usually pick a team after the Caps lose (except for 2018) just so I have some sort of rooting interest. I can't seem to get my arm around any of these teams. Maybe Calgary. Maybe Colorado. Maybe no one.

Still time for you to make an enlightened rooting decision. Just saying.

I agree. He should be rooting for the Whalercanes, mostly because I like how Whalercanes sounds.

The only two teams I despise left in the playoffs are the Rangers and Hurricanes, so that's a hard no for me, dawg.

I'm a Blues guy so I obviously don't want it to happen, but I'll watch every minute of an Avalanche-Flames series, if it comes to that.

I could root for the Blues if I had no one else left. Nobody expects them to win, Jordan Kyrou and Vlad Tarasenko are hard to hate. ... and Buch. Nuff said.

There was a time the Lightning were Rangers south
    Now it’s the Hurricanes

We’re far enough into the playoffs now
Who do we like, ESPN or TNT?
I think the best announcing crew is on now (Albert, Olcyzk and Jones)
Best studio for me is Jennifer Botterill of TNT and Kevin Weekes of ESPN

    Raanta ... just wow.

Rangers should have put them away in the first 40 minutes. Lots of puck possession and shots, which are usually traits associated with Carolina.

Yeah, Kaako missed a gaping net. Nino had a shot on a breakaway hit the crossbar. Plenty of what-ifs.

And how many people had Ian Cole scoring the game-winner in OT?

Home team has to know that playing like that for too long usually means getting beat. Rangers can't let up. Stay Tuned.

    Panthers are done
    Colton scores 3.9 seconds left
    Down 2-0 going to Tampa

Don’t look now, but the Blues will see Game 5 and also now have home-ice advantage.

Yeah, I was going to stop by and own that one. Feather in their cap to be sure.

Didn't get a chance to watch much of that one tonight, but Colorado was so utterly dominant in the regular season and basically in the first round that it didn't seem like a particularly bold prediction, especially given how poorly Minnesota played in games 4-6 to get eliminated, particularly on special teams. Kind of like my other great prediction, that Tampa would run out of gas, will seems to be outperforming on paper talent at the moment.

To be clear, I would much rather they not win the Cup seeing as I am a Red Wings fan, but I still think they will.
