I have half a seasons ticket package for the Flames and attended game 1 which had some amazing highs and lows for the crowd, an electric atmosphere.
Unless Oilers goaltending reverts to what it was in the opening game Flames will have to find something in the dressing room that isn’t there now. The D men have to stop watching McDavid dangle the puck. It’s ok for the fans to watch it but not them. Somehow they need to staple a couple of forwards to his every move not unlike when Canadiens had Claude Provost shadow Bobby Hull in the early 1960s, one reason why the Blackhawks only won the SC once.
Most everyone picked Calgary in this series but a very perceptive hockey writer in the Athletic, can’t remember who, said the playoffs set up well for the Oilers with the LA series being used to ramp up their unmatched speed and fine tune some of their set plays. Any team who has to skate 4-4 or 4-5 gives CM too much room and he’s unstoppable. They also are looking for Hyman on the long pass and he can turn those into breakaways.
Flames are tough playing their style and need to get back to it, but the other guys want this series, too. My 2 tickets in row 19 of the second tier in the Saddledome sell for about $365 each on the resale market and lower bowl from 800-2 or 3 thousand. You can sell a few playoff tix and pay for your seasons tickets.

Easily ... especially if the playoff opponent is Edmonton.

So, there's been a development with the Dallas Stars, and this is how the story was presented on my Facebook feed:

What was the story about again?

Gotcha - I’m Canadian too, but I just thought the resale apps price them in USD.
