    Well, you know, the Rangers game plan is to play dirty and head hunt and take out the best players on the other team, because, well, they can't win without doing that that. and you know what Jacob Trouba is thinking. So just like the premeditated elbow to Sidney Crosby's head, Trouba has had, um, Max Domi targeted since before the series began.

    Over the hump. Lots of demons purged with that one. My boss is a HUGE Avs fan (he was lamenting having to go to a Game 7 on Sunday after the disaster of Wednesday).

    Avs-Oilers will be lotsa fun.

    I didn't throw in the Game 6 towel because the Stanley Cup playoffs are weird and the Avs are much better than the Blues but that loss the other day is a series killer for a lot of teams. Definitely says something about their resolve to come back and win this game, especially after trailing almost all of it.

    You could feel they were the better team out there. Kept peppering the goal. Outshot the Blues 2-1. Something, at some point, had to go in. They clearly should have won Game 5. Onward.

    Hockey is weird. Bad mistake on the Blues' second goal which is been almost the only way the Avs have given up goals in the playoffs, bad mistakes. That was the third game this series they outshot the Blues like that.

    One of my son's friends has a bid on Stanley Cup finals tickets for $2K if the Avs advance. That's a little too steep for me.
