Thrown out of a game for stealing a phone

It was not a “pile of phones” that everyone put in a certain space. There were one or two on the counter near where people were working.

I suppose it ties into the Sisyphean aspect of the thing.

Why would you or anyone else put your phone on a counter instead of keeping it in your pocket, bag or right by you?
