Go for dagger on the road; at home???

Heat almost won with Strus, Lowry on one leg, and zero inside game.

Wanted the Heat only because they have no O firepower; Celts can get stagnant and live by the 3, which is good for Ws, they can go small and run.

My only prediction for this series is Subway will start running their Draymond Green-Jayson Tatum commercials again

How much credit does Ainge get since he drafted Tatum, Brown and Smart?

Warriors vs. Celtics for the NBA title. First time in my lifetime with that matchup.

    Should be good.

The narrative that the Celtics rely on the three is overblown. They play good defense and get points there. I forget which game, but the Celtics blew out the heat in scoring in the paint.

The Celtics passing is what makes them great. They shoot threes because the guys are wide open. And the whole team rebounds. Horford and Williams play great defense and Horford has been difficult to defend.

If the Celtics are healthy, they will beat the Warriors.

I would agree with you if the Celtics had not been so incredibly inconsistent in their last two series. Sure they can beat the Warriors, but this might also be the series where they piss away one game too many.

Oddly, I think the Warriors might be a better match-up for them, similar to how they handled Brooklyn. Boston-Miami was strength on strength (team defense, physical play) that made it hellish to watch at times. Milwaukee is kind of similar, except they're built around one big superstar vs. team depth (this year). The Warriors hustle and play good defense, but I think they're at a lower tier defensively. However, I think the Warriors' offensive peak is higher than those other teams. Should make for good games. They've played six times in the past three years, and only one game wasn't competitive.

The Celtics can make the Warriors pay for throwing the ball to whomever, whenever. Conversely, the Warriors can make the Celtics pay for, "It's Marcus Smart Time!!!"

Ainge drafted Robert Williams and Grant Williams too, without them Boston’a not here. Great late first round picks that fill a roster are huge.

On the other hand Stevens made the Horford move and got White at the deadline, esp the White move is very un-Ainge and has proven crucial to Boston’s success

The players must look forward to the playoffs - and shoot, the Warriors will have been off for a week before Game 1 tips. Then two days off before the next home game - then two more before the first game in Boston. Not to mention the longer commercial breaks during the games. It's pretty much an All-Star break between each playoff game.
