    Greatest opening scene in the opening show in the opening season in the history of TV. Sadness, humor, humanity, violence, a feeling of helplessness, all wrapped up into one scene with two actors. The police car lights reflecting in the trail of blood ... Christ.

    Notice that two lines from the opening scenes of the greatest crime TV series (The Wire) and the greatest crime movie (The Godfather) are almost the same:

    The Wire: "Got to man ... this is America."

    The Godfather: "I believe in America."
