    So you've met the continuing ed people who thought their Earth science class was a chance to stretch those precious little apologetics limbs, bless their hearts. Showing them "The Future Is Wild" provided some grim entertainment and a shakeup in my faith in humanity.

    I'm counting on a surge when the weather gets colder. The interesting thing to me is whether there will be new mRNA vaccines with the spike protein(s) from the later variants as the backbone. And if so, how much more antibody protection, as opposed to a memory cell boost, it might afford.

    With the FDA in the way of the process, I am keeping my fingers crossed, because they will choose limiting choices in the name of not confusing people, rather than letting things be available and leaving it to people to make choices for themselves. So if Pfizer and Moderna don't essentially present comparable vaccines targeting the same exact strains, the FDA could conceivably be the FDA and screw it up.
