Tatum goes 3/17 and wins on the road.

Thompson and Poole combine for 8/25.

The Tatum stat is what really gets my attention if I’m a GS fan.

Tatum had 13 assists that led to at least 26 points but probably more if any were 3's.

So Tatum still "got" his points.

Poole was a nightmare. Stopping the ball on offense, me-first shot selection, zero court vision, and passes to whomever. Like Grant Williams, this series may not be for him.

I still can't decide if Tatum was brutal or invisible. It's nice to try to spin his evening as a double-double that showed a superstar (he's only 24!!1!) still helping his team, but he was deferring rather than facilitating. The dude was just doing cardio in the 4th. I sincerely give him credit for keeping the complaining to a minimum, though.

After the 1st, Boston did all they could to get the ball in Draymond's hands, and if Draymond finishes a game with 12 shots...

I'm not even kidding when I say that the Celtics' defense was helped by them actually defending instead of falling on purpose or sliding in front of guys hoping to get hit. If they stay that disciplined, GS is in trouble.

Golden State has to be telling themselves that Smart, White, and Horford won't make fifteen threes again. Hell, I'd believe anything that could help me get over being roasted by 24 points in one quarter.

The Warriors chose to start their Finals with Neil Schon doing the anthem. They have only themselves to blame.

They need to go their separate ways and bring in real San Fran bands to do the NA ... like Jefferson Airplane ... or the Dead Kennedys ... or Third Eye Blind.

Poole was brutal, 4 TOs and just not competing on D.

Great to see IGGY, Ws will be fine, Cs not shooting 3s like that again otherwise all respect to them and they deserve the championship.

Iggy's 38, and picked up 3 fouls in 12 minutes last night. I think if he's playing more than emergency duty in this series, the Warriors are kind of fucked.

I think he looked good, hit a 3 and a dunk
Only problem was what 8 3s in 4th

Last graf is the key: Can Boston shoot like that from behind arc again? If so, Dubs are in trouble.

No because nobody in history has shot the 3 that well over multiple games, let alone the Finals.

It was at least the third time the Celtics hit 20 threes, once at a rate above 46% and the others times were above 50%.

So, if there was an NBA Finals game no one posts about, does it mean everyone was watching hockey?
