Biggest twist on a heel/face turn since the Shield broke up? Or maybe Roman returning as a heel?

    In terms of surprise, maybe.

Magnitude, no. Those were top of the card turns. Edge's group hadn't really progressed beyond middle of the pack.

That return of Dolph and Roode I guess is a turn to face for them, but it was horribly shoehorned in from out of nowhere. And all I could notice was that curled up carpet on that Okerlund platform.

Ambrose/Moxley turning on Rollins when Roman announced he was sick was in a class of its own.

It was a great twist and hopefully elevates Balor.

As for needing to turn Edge to get a top draw as a face, well,

Cena will be back to make a cameo and maybe set something up for SummerSlam (possibly give a rub to Theory or Omos), but he'll hardly be weekly.

If they ever need someone to step up in a pinch, maybe they should look to the producers and fight calmers. I see Curtis Axel, both Daivari brothers and one of the guys from the Sprit Squad out there now.

Another great hand for Bron to work with ... but what happened to Apollo's "Nigerian" "accent?"

Must have the same dialect coach as Kofi.

For tonight's Dynamite, Tony announced that we'll have Pac vs. Buddy Matthews, which is guaranteed to be amazing, and the battle royal will be Casino variety, which means there will be a joker.

Will the joker be 1) someone in house, 2) one of the big free agents, 3) a New Japan guy, or 4) MJF?

Nobody’s mentioning Kenny Omega’s name here … oh, wait, I just did.

It's a possibility, but I don't think it's feasible yet. I've read that even with the layoff, there's been a lot for him to recover from before he can return to the ring, and not sure if he can handle two matches in one night (even if he can breeze through the battle royal as the last entrant and with some shenanigans).

I'd be happy to eat crow tonight, but my thinking is that he makes his return at Forbidden Door itself -- maybe as a surprise opponent for one of the New Japan guys.
