Well, based on what I’ve seen, I’m not sure what punishment Bruce Pearl should receive. What punishment would, say, the University of Illinois rightly have levied that Auburn can’t bring itself to do?

Not sure the school should do anything, but we all know if he had said the same thing about Trump's ravaging of democracy, he'd have been blasted by every Trumpist politician in the state.

 

Why some other member of Congress just hasn't taken a tire iron to Gaetz's kneecaps escapes me.

 

The highest-paid employee of a land-grant university decrying “socialism” (sic) is a helluva look.

 

I think it’s a pretty predictable look to be honest. I’d guess many college coaches are free market/non-government spending types.
