And WTF is an Australian doing in the mix? It’s not the All-Pacific Championship.

 

I don't mind the creation of the championship, but the name is baffling. Only two of the eight entrants (Pac and Ethan Page) are from countries that have an Atlantic coast.

 

Calling it the Intercontinental would have been too on the nose, I guess. Call it the AEW International Championship and let NJPW and AAA guys carry it around the world.

 

AEW crowds are usually pretty hot, but I don't think suburban Kansas City was the best place to stack the show with a bunch of New Japan guys.

 

What belt was Cole carrying? The Owen Hart Memorial Trophy get belted down and slapped on one?
