    As a business proposition, LIV just seems fated to lose money (sponsors can well afford it). Where is the demand for a competitor to the PGA and DP World Tours?

    Perhaps one day this will all get worked out and and there will be a biennial event, sort of similar to the Ryder Cup, with American, European and Asian teams and golfers from the Saudi stable.

    In the event of a tie, they could just chop the purse into smaller pieces.
