He turned pro but has not yet gained PGA Tour status, therefore, isn't a member.

Terrible start for LIV in terms of rousting two reporters, Rob Harris of AP and Shipnuck. Neither are TMZ types. Hardly the way to win hearts and minds, and it only reinforces the stereotype of the thug nation financing it all. You'd think they'd welcome any media coverage, critical or not, and try not to throw reporters out of interview areas.

Surprised Shipnuck even got a credential into the event.

ESPN thoughtfully included the first day scores of the LIV tourney in its golf news. I daresay the field has names in it even Hondo hasn't heard of. Unless they can bulk up past their aging big names, this thing won't see a second season. The Saudis might be evil, but they're not into losing money for no return of any kind.

The Saudis know there's no profit to be made when you're paying guys nine figures to show up. The primary goal isn't profit; their Public Investment Fund is set up as a sportswashing slush fund. The master plan might not be many seasons of LIV Golf, it could be to swallow the Euro Tour or create some other alliance (they've already bagged the Asian Tour). The goal is to normalize the Saudi involvement over time.

And more big names are coming, starting with Bryson.

The world would be a better place if someone put a bullet through MBS.

9/11, and the Saudis will NEVER be normalized over time.
