Remarkable. Would the streak have continued if NY or Edm had made it?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. Of course, that particular graphic was weird because it listed Jagr for 1991 and '92, the two years Jagr helped the Penguins win the Cup.

Oft-scratched Ranger Greg McKegg played with Jagr with Florida in 2015-16 and 2016-17.

Mike Smith played with Jagr in Calgary.

The career of Greg McKegg is exhibit number 3,000,000 demonstrating that 99 times out of 100, NHL coaches will choose to try not to lose more than they will try to win.

The one thing the Avalanche haven't done this playoffs is face a really good goalie. Preds played with an AHL guy, Binnington got hurt when he was starting to get hot and Mike Smith is Mike Smith. Curious to see when Point gets back in the lineup too. I don't know if he'll play before Monday. I think the Lightning need him to win, but they are 8-2 without him.

Keith Kinkaid played one game for the Rangers this year, he would have probably been called to back up in the event of an injury to Shesterkin or Georgiev

Sounds like he’s skating at practice
    I think Kadri is too

You just made me remember. ... Shesterkin went down, I think it was in December. During that stretch, the Rangers had a lot of games packed in, including a number of back-to-backs, including back-to-back away games against Colorado and Arizona. Kinkaid would have gotten one of those starts, except he had Covid, so Adam Huska got the call instead of him. Making it worse, they threw Huska to the wolves against Colorado for his only NHL start and gave Georgiev the easier start against the Coyotes. Yeah, Kinkaid was the next man up for the Rangers. He had started 9 or 10 games for them the year before, kind of reviving his career. The Rangers are going to need a backup next year, Georgiev is a goner, but I don't think Kinkaid is going to be the guy.

Point practicing with the top PP unit. Seems like he is highly likely to play.

BriseBois has put his stamp on the Lightning and Yzerman gets credit for building the team, though Al Murray deserves it too
But the guy who drafted Stamkos and Hedman is Brian Lawton
