Not to go all Godwin's Law on the bit, but that's like blaming Adolf Hitler on the Weimar Republic. Ever since the GWB Administration, the American people have been conditioned that there is no situation in which they should be expected to sacrifice anything. So any adverse conditions are the government's fault. Never mind that the pandemic fucked up manufacturing and the fucked up manufacturing fucked up the supply chain (and then the Chinese government's zero-COVID policy helped restart that cycle again), but inflation is the government's fault. Never mind that one of the world's leading petroleum producers started a war of choice against one of the world's leading grain producers, also Biden's fault. That's why the Republicans have been in "fuck you" mode since the late 2000s. Because they haven't had any ideas of their own in nearly a decade, the GOP platform basically consists of making sure there are enough headwinds against the American public to convince selfish Americans to blame it on Democrats.

I've been in Clyburn, Cannon, Hart. And I did take pictures of the subway. But that's only because I like trains.

People don't vote "against" Democrats. They just don't vote. And Republicans do. Hell, Reagan lost seats in his first midterm because all of his Reagan Democrats were out of work.

Ginni Thomas corresponded with John Eastman, sources in Jan. 6 House investigation say

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2022/06/15/ginni-thomas-john-eastman-emails/

"The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol has obtained email correspondence between Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and lawyer John Eastman, who played a key role in efforts to pressure Vice President Mike Pence to block the certification of Joe Biden’s victory, according to three people involved in the committee’s investigation.

The emails show that Thomas’s efforts to overturn the election were more extensive than previously known, two of the people said. The three declined to provide details and spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.

The committee’s members and staffers are now discussing whether to spend time during their public hearings exploring Ginni Thomas’s role in the attempt to overturn the outcome of the 2020 election, the three people said. The Washington Post previously reported that the committee had not sought an interview with Thomas and was leaning against pursuing her cooperation with its investigation."

I’d rather they put some of that old school country club money into a senate race or two.

Boebert is a lot more vulnerable, both in the primary (she won last time by less than 10,000 votes) and in the general (26,000 difference).

MTG has a cakewalk where the biggest scandal possible won't take her down.
