I am annoyed about another wasted multiple-goal lead, but that was a really good game.

Second and third periods were a concern. Blew two-goal leads twice. They Found A Way.

Long way to go and it's still the Lightning.

I thought they played pretty well in the third just couldn't get one by, which will be an issue this series.

The second is the only blackeye of the playoffs. These weird lapses. Two goals in 48 seconds? Ugh.

Are we sure that's not Gritty's post-retirement look?

Here's the lead anchor on the station that aired the game. All of their "reporters" had Avalanche shirts on. This is typical here. I feel like I'm in Wichita, not a top-20 market, but alas.

I saw the same thing in Phoenix during the NBA Finals last year. All the news siders were dressed in Suns garb, but the sports folks had on coats and ties. The latter called them the Suns, the former we.

Oh, and another station did a "Are you new to hockey" hokey bullshit "story." Something they would never do if the Broncos were in the Super Bowl. Or if somehow the Nuggets made the NBA Finals and do a story of "The object of the game is to put the ball in the basket." So they had this doozy. Nothing about the playoffs. Par for the course.
