He was on Dan Patrick last week and took a bone saw to the whole thing.

Did the no-names who signed on to the LIV Tour to fill the first tournament's field not stop to think that they will be bumped from the 48-man field for the next tournament and have nowhere to go after London when other PGA Tour pros jumped?
I'm not hearing anything about Monday qualifying being an option. How many guys are one and done?

Rahm is thoughtful here. And the last few seconds are cutting. (about "retirement"

I'm sure many knew they were one-offs as opposed to the big names that got multi-year contracts. But it's a pretty good one-off when you're guaranteed at least $120,000.

Koepka was in a fighting mood today with the media around LIV. Would be surprised if he doesn't join his brother there; no one cares less about the non-majors and he wouldn't have to pretend anymore that he does.

Yeah, Brooks ... let's not ask anyone about the topic that is burning in every 19th hole from here to Europe.
Fuck off dude. DeChambeau might have been right about you.

The LIV Tour is signing some pretty unlikable people. I'm guessing Brooks Kopeka is the next player I don't like who is going there.

That could actually turn out to be kind of a problem for the PGA Tour. Their suits and staff will appreciate the lack of pricks, but some hate makes for good TV and copy. Especially in the Presidents Cup (which always needs help) and the Ryder Cup, which are really just Florida-based millionaires playing each other.

Is the majority of the fan base with the players choosing LIV golf or the ones staying with the PGA?

As I've said before, golf is a small-c conservative community. Most fans are with the Tour, because those are the events they are familiar with. But I don't think there's any animus towards the LIV guys. I mean, fans don't like Reed, but they didn't like him before.

I would near soil myself if Phil showed up tomorrow waiting to play the last round and hang around to collect a last place check of $120,000.

Mickelson gets a check this week as well. The majors pay players who miss the cut.
