No way on earth can the Avs player on the far right be considered as even remotely participating in the action, which I've always understood to be the litmus test of a TMMOTI penalty.

He wasn't and no one was on him, which I think lessens the impact of too many men.

That said, there are a few videos from behind Kuemper and another on the bench that show how far away he was from the bench and how slow it was when Kadri joined the rush and even had the puck. So to that extent, it would seem it could've, should've been too many men. That said, I see where this is a judgment call. Didn't impact the play at all and it happened fast.

Also, which is still being buried, the Lighting had a terrible change too, also could be argued they had too many men (actually had more than the Avs, but they might have been more within the rules), and the overall slowness almost certainly impacted their ability to defend the play.

Yeah when Kadri enters the ice, MacKinnon is by the opposite circle. It was too many men. But MacKinnon didn’t impact the play, he was about off the ice when Kadri gets the puck and no one on the ice thought MacKinnon was playing and let him go. The Avs would have been fine if the puck stays in the defensive end but it was shot cross the ice and it became an issue. So I get why Tampa is mad. Yeah MacKinnon didn’t impact the play, but Kadri entered early and did impact the play.

That said, I’m good with the no call. Those changes routinely end up with too many men. I like swallowing the whistle when the guy coming off the ice completely takes himself out of the play. I get 100 percent why Tampa is mad. If that was my team (and last October, it was my team) I’d be furious. But Tampa had a chance to stop it but got caught out of position. You could argue Kadri entering easily played a role but the Avs keeper made a great play that pantsed the Lightning.

Great points. Was it the Avs' change that screwed up the Lightning's change and thus defense or was it Keumper's play, which obviously impacted how the Avs' change was viewed too.

If MacKinnon is covered this is much more of an issue, but he wasn't at all. That said, I agree with you, with more coming to light if the roles were reversed I'd be salty too.

These are so dumb. LTIR is part of the CBA and smart organizations know how to use it.

Some homer radio action. This is really great.

    "It did?"

I think that is some of the most reserved I have ever heard him. And it really described what everyone who was watching thought at that moment.

I was in Utah with an Avs season ticket holder. He was freaking out less than a minute in. We're watching at a horrible watering hole in the mid-south of Utah when the winning goal goes in. None of us caught it until the Avs were celebrating and he was excited (not out-of-control) like the rest of the Colorado contingent.

He'll be at Ball on Friday night with his daughter.

Lives in Denver Mirco Jr. saw two tickets for Game 5 for sale, only $3,400. What a bargain! I have never had an income that makes even considering such a purchase a possibility.

The only extravagance I made like that was when I was in New York for a friend’s wedding
Spent $1,600 on a ticket to Hamilton with the original cast
    $$$ well spent

I splurged on Super Bowl 50 and never regretted it for a second. There is part of me that is ready to pull the trigger -- get in price tonight hasn't dropped below $1,300 since they won on Wednesday and right now a pair is more what you have quoted. But life and other expensive stuff that has taken place currently (freaking houses) has me holding back. I'm pretty OK with it. Ten years ago I probably would have made it happen. I am pretty OK with my living room. So excited, though!
