I don’t know and don’t particularly care to find out.

That makes me much sadder than it probably comes off.

I assume the Miami Herald also included el Nuevo Herald as well?

My crazy paper only charges $1, and news hole is pretty large. Tomorrow's sports section is 10 pages. Year's subscription is only $84. But home delivery is extremely limited. I can't even get it, and I'm only 17 miles from the office (but about 40 miles from where they print the thing). They do deliver it to grocery stores and the like in my area, however.

$2.50, usually 16-24 pages. Lets just call it the podunk press

Daily $2. Sunday $3.50 and it is thinner than the hair on my head.

$1 daily, $1.50 weekender. Typically 12-16 pages. Circulation roughly 3,500. One of smaller circulations in the state for dailies, but not the smallest.

South China Morning Post, HK$14 (US$1.75), 28 regular pages in two sections plus a rotating set of inserts (Racing Post, This Week in Asia, Young Post, etc.).

The last physical paper I might have held in my hands to read was the last one I paginated myself in late August 2019. I think it was a buck.

Today's paper is $1 for two six-page sections that includes insert packets for both Lowe's and Menards.
Don't have a Sunday paper, but the Saturday paper is $1.50 for two 10-page sections with several ad inserts.

Just visited my parents and they were renewing their subscription to the Star Tribune (home delivery). They were, of course, writing an actual check out for it, and couldn't figure out something on the invoice so I told mom to let me look at it. The invoice was, indeed, confusing, as it said to write how much money you included and then included a line "Don't write on this invoice." But then I saw the total: $853. I was gobsmacked but they love their daily deliveries and don't think twice about reupping every year. They also subscribe to another daily paper close to them and three weeklies. Back in the day it was three dailies when they subscribed to the paper I worked at. God bless them for keeping the newspaper business alive in their part of the world.

I'm sorry, that's absolutely ridiculous and you need to take the checkbook away. I'm old school, but I wouldn't pay $8.53 for the Denver Post. In fact, I haven't given Lean Dean or Alden one cent of my money since I've been here the past 18 years (mostly because it's a deplorable product).

My mom gets the Boston papers and probably pays $120 a month. I know people in both newsrooms and she has the money to spend, so I haven’t pushed back. Is it worth it? For her happiness, sure. But half the reason she gets the papers, for the prior day’s lottery numbers, isn’t even possible anymore with stupid early deadlines. Another way to devalue your product. I’ve tried explaining to her about five times why the lottery numbers aren’t in the paper now, but she isn’t having it.
