I totally figured, and any small reference that may exist won't be a big deal to me anyway, but thought I would check. Marvel has a way of surprising us with all of this.

Marvel has a Wonder Man series for Disney+ in development Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest as co-creators. Supposedly, it would be satire focusing on Hollywood. In the comics, Simon Williams is both the superhero Wonder Man and a famous actor and stunt man. At one point, Nathan Fillion was set to play the character in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, but they couldn't make him fit. There was supposed to be a scene with posters of Williams playing a variety of movie roles, but that was cut. He really would have been a great fit for the character 10 years ago, but at 51, he might be too old for the part.

This multiverse thing is getting out of hand.

They finally did it. They put out an MCU series on Disney+ that I'm struggling to watch. Ms. Marvel is different. I appreciate some things about it and maybe I'm just not the target audience, but so far, it hasn't grabbed me. My daughter bailed after one episode and I'm muddling through Episode 2.

Same here. Just not my bag. Too much ... something ... and I haven't liked it.

This is my wife's favorite Disney show so far, and her only annoyance has been that I had her start watching now, instead of when it was all done, so that she could binge it, haha.

It feels a lot like Turning Red, just with a focus on a different culture.

It’s educating America on a culture. My daughter and I had a discussion (I had to look it up) about what happened in 1947 in India. It is horrific.

This wasn’t made for old white men.

Using storytelling to educate people about other cultures is great. Just be sure to tell a compelling story in the process. I'm only halfway through the second episode, but from what I've seen so far, they aren't doing that.

    Stern cannot be Dr. Doom.

    Now, Adam Driver? Yes.
