Life isn’t about perfection, human error is a good reminder of who we are. It’s part of life. I’m fine with it. In the long run theses things even out. Yeah sucks in the moment but then we’d be just left with watching robots play each other, what fun is that?

Agreed. And keep automated ball-strike calls out of baseball!

Actually, they can be used when Angel Hernandez is on the plate. That's when they are allowed.

    That makes no sense.
Balls that are in, are being called out. And technology is there to get the call correct.

Kyrgios takes the first set. Yawn. Call me when he has match point.

Kyrgios’ post-match interview said it all about why he hasn’t become one of the game’s elite players (and never will).

Q: Your first Grand Slam final … Does it make you hungry for more?

A: Absolutely not. I’m so tired. Myself, my team, I think we’re all exhausted — we’ve played so much tennis. I definitely need a well-earned vacation after this one. I’m just happy with the result — it’s the best of my career. Hopefully, maybe one day I’ll be here again, but I don’t know about that.

Federer wept after losing a final that would've been what, his 17th title? Nadal was close to tears for retiring prior to a match with this fuckin' fraud he'd have vaporized. At least PRETEND to be a potential champion. Doesn't take much.

No, don't pretend. Does no one any good. He is who he is: The anthesis of the Big 3.

He’s a pedantic contrarian - like a lot of younger athletes.
