From the seventh inning on, when it was still 3-0 Angels, I just had the feeling the Orioles were going to win. That the Angels got to the ninth still leading, 3-2, seemed unlikely. When Shohei homered in the top of the ninth, I thought that would seal the win. But Iglesias came in to close. He was throwing 95 mph fastballs right down the middle with no movement. I'd say it was a crushing loss for the Angels, but there have been quite a few of those the past couple of months.

I’m pretty sure that the Orioles would beat the Angels in a best-of-7 series. That would have been a ridiculous statement in April.

But how is he not eligible at catcher in your fantasy league?

Do kids still have to take ScanTron tests with No. 2 pencils?

Dunno. My civil service tests still used Scan-Tron.

I remember when my elementary school got a Scan-Tron machine. The teachers nearly declared a national holiday.

Seven in a row. I actually went to my bar to watch, didn’t think the Orioles would be appointment viewing. Sandoval was nails for the Angels. O’s scrape one run across and it’s enough.

At what point do we think less of Trout as an all-time great for not demanding a trade immediately?

I know I'm missing something somewhere, but I have never had the unquestioning love for Mike Trout that others obviously have.

    Trout is Mantle, only better.

I don't need to have unwavering, unquestioning love to know this.
