It was a St. Louis Grill out in Kanata. Nothing special.

What makes a restaurant particularly “St. Louis”?

For me it’s just the proper name, I don’t really get it on an existential level. We are a nation where “Boston Pizza” is a success.

Caps let Samsonov walk, leaving them exactly zero goalies. I gotta think they're making a big play for Kuemper.

    He's already resigned in Minnesota.

It's like they're resigned to being stuck.

... but I guess that's the definition of "stuck."

If you let Samsonov walk b/c you don't think he's worth the $3 million he might get in arbitration, I don't see how you can really think that Darcy Kuemper at the $5 million + longer term he's likely to get makes any better sense.

They have to be looking at other options. Jack Campbell as a short-term UFA signing would make more sense. Tradewise, Jake Allen's name has been coming up a lot.

I wonder if Malkin lands in Washington.

I think my head might explode. I fucking loathe him.

So Patrick Kane wants the Rangers. What would he bring back if the Hawks eat the max salary they can (which given their cap room, they can)?

I imagine they would want Lafreniere in return. Obviously, with a few other pieces.
