Local TV meteorologist posted a NOAA map warning of highs in the mid-110s in the next few weeks for an area stretching from Dallas in the south into northern Nebraska.

Looks like that was probably for heat index. Still going to be plenty hot with highs around 105.

He posted a GFS model that had 117 near Tulsa sometime next week. Not heat index, actual temp.

Looks like it. He wrote something about the model "adjusting" as we get closer, but seeing those numbers five days out was concerning.

Forecast is for temps to reach 108F in Bordeaux, France come Monday. Maybe 100 plus in London, too.

Temperatures in San Diego (where we were headed) for the next week: 72HI-65LO every fucking day.

Fortunately, it's not gonna be too bad where live till the end of next week, when it will turn into hot ass and corn chips for several days.
