I am currently shopping to publishers my manuscript which is a dual biography of Biden and Manchin. It is tentatively titled "Game of Joes: Two Men, One Party and Dozens of Challenges."

I’m pitching a rival book: “Don’t Give Me No Bologna, I want a Manchin Deal”

All I have is the title.

But was it a political appointment? Did it require Senate confirmation?

Shameful that she only got 60 days (instead of 60 months or 60 years)

Many political appointments do not require Senate confirmation. It's one major reason White House staffs have grown so large over the decades.
