He’s under team control for 2 years after this one. Far more time than you normally get for a player of this talent.
What should the Washington Baseball Team demand? And who would be willing to pay it

Can you imagine what the landscape of baseball if Scott Boras never became an agent?

Nature abhors a vacuum. If it wasn’t Boras it would have been someone else.

    One.

Ninety-nine out of 100 times I will side with players over ownership when it comes to contracts.

    One.

It just takes some kind of cajones to look at an offer to be the highest paid player and think the offer isn’t good enough. Maybe we’d have someone ruthless, but no one is even on the same level as Boras. Every time you see this story, you immediately know who did it.

Do we know it’s about the money? Maybe he wants to play somewhere else.

Entirely fair. Maybe he wants to be on a contender and this is his way to get there. It’s still hard to turn away from $30ish mil a year

Didn't he play on a contender 3 years ago, and win a ring?

Contenders are born every next pitch.

Mike Trout just read this sentence and has no idea what you're talking about.

Up to 13 straight for Seattle. The M's are starting to become must-see TV.

And a big day from Adley. Good day in the Micro household.

Make it 13 straight for the Mariners. They score in the top of the 10th at Texas, then Matt Festa (?!?!) strikes out the side in the bottom of the 10th.

Seattle also was helped by Texas lining out into a double play on a hit and run in the ninth.

These types of streaks take a little luck, too.
