Roe v. Wade to be overturned?

So why do the people who oppose abortion because life starts at conception, abandon interest in making sure that child Has a decent, healthy and productive life after birth?

Christian bashing is the norm around here. It's not if, when, or particulars of anything. Just Christian bashing. It's a thing. The thing...and almost the only thing.

We had Muslim bashing before certain people left. And other than one particular poster who makes a habit of saying vile things, a lot of it is meant toward the hypocrisy of Christians. There’s a sense by some (certainly not all) that the only way America can function is under the Christian framework. It is a little scary when the lines of delineation between religion and the secular state get blurred by one group all for religious freedom that they already have. They just don’t like that everyone isn’t following the same way.

 

This is so simplistic and all-encompassing as to be ridiculous. Loads of people contribute hundreds, thousands, millions of dollars -- whatever they can afford, and probably even some that they cannot -- to humanitarian/child-related causes, and many others actually do foster and adopt kids, or teach, mentor, or otherwise help them, often on a long-term basis, or regularly, or even occasionally but memorably for said kids.

And many of them who do so are even -- gulp -- Christians.

 

What would Jesus say or do?
Would he be the guy flipping the switch to execute a man condemned by a human-run justice system?
Would he labor for hours under the West Texas sun to build a wall to honor Trump and keep others out?
Would he adamantly refuse to get a vaccine, claiming bodily autonomy trumps all?
Would he own assault rifles and at least occasionally carry them in public?
What would he say about abortion?

How many of his alleged followers are inconsistent on these issues?
