Did Fox really not show Fernando throw out the first pitch?

And everyone here knows the awful backstory of the development of Chavez Ravine, right? Just checking.

The All Star Game started to suck when it became Little League and the managers felt they had to get everyone into the game.

Everyone is anxious for Garrett Cooper to get a second at bat in the ninth inning when Mookie Betts and Paul Goldschmidt each hit once and were out of the game in the third.

Great relievers vs second tier all stars, guys playing only because each team needs a selection and/or injury replacements is why these games are over by the fifth.

Did we win a taco at least?

The same uniforms thing is horrible. Resign Manfred.

The Rangers got one inning of Corey Kluber in exchange for Emmanuel Clase.

I watched two at-bats. The game holds no interest for me anymore. Although I like interleague play, I think that's part of the reason. Plus, as MTM said, I don't want to see relatively faceless guys playing the late innings while the "name" players are sitting around.

I got more of a kick last night watching a kid pitch an "ultimate" perfect game in a Little League regional. Twelve hitters (four-inning mercy rule), 12 Ks. ONE kid sliced a foul into the first-base dugout in the third inning, the only contact off this pitcher. The hitter's team acted as if he'd hit a game-winning home run.

Didn't watch any of it, I was at work.

We won our game in 2:09. We only had three strikeouts in the 27 outs we recorded; only 11 of the 51 outs were via Ks. The ball was constantly in play. Now that's baseball!
