He's three up late in whatever tournament is going on this week.

Curious if it comes up after the round. Any SJ regulars out there covering it?

This is one of those weeks where you're surprised to hear Jim Nantz on the call.

Piercy about to blow this lead - I think he was up 5 at one point?

I guess Finau is about to pull this one out from behind?

Well, perhaps. He just dunked one on 18.

12th win and second major for the former Smiths Falls Cubs goaltender. Always fun to watch, I’d cheer for her even if she wasn’t Canadian.

Yeah, this seems like an NFL rules meeting weekend. He was at the Scottish two weeks ago. Off last week. Throwaway in Detroit next week. Then Greensboro before the playoffs, which are on the feathered network and CBS is done.

When Nantz is calling these lesser events, bet the chalk. Finau came through as the favorite here and earlier this season Rahm won as a massive fave at the Mexico Open. It's like the golf gods wake up on Sunday and say "we're not letting The Voice call a Scott Piercy win."

I couldn't root for Finau enough. Seems like a great guy, whereas Piercy just appears to be a smug a-hole plus given his prior views led me to not mind his foibles on the back 9.
