    I was all set to post that yesterday . . . then decided, "well, there's nothing deceptive about it, like a bunch of happy people as the film ends awaiting a world full of misery you don't see."

    I still had the post sitting in the reply window, waiting to send.

    Globus and Golam were like the Walt Garrison of movies. Give them $5 million for a movie, they’d get you back $15 million. Give them $30 million, they’d get back you $15 million.

    Diane Franklin had/has a good career. She's underappreciated. Michelle Meyrink is another comic ingénue from that decade who should have gotten more love. Odd take: They made Brittany Murphy's early career possible.
