Haven't had either in this century. But, they gotta be better than Papa John's.

In defense of dominoes, my kids have wildly different tastes in pizza. On fridays when I don’t feel like cooking, getting one a super thin crust with barely any cheese and the other a “deepdish” pan style with extra cheese is a lot easier than ordering pizza from multiple local places or having one kid eat one slice and then looking for a large snack at bedtime.

This guy on the UFC program has a sweet Michigan tattoo. Dax Sheppard must be jealous.

Domino's is fine when you can get two pies for under $11 with app coupons and carryout. But it is what it is, and I limit my intake.

I swear there was a five year period (early 2010ish) where it was really good and it went back downhill. Or maybe my tastebuds changed.

It was great in the late aughts when they were dusting the bottom with butter and garlic salt.

Marco’s Pizza blows away anything else in the chain delivery game I’ve tried lately, but not sure how widespread they are.

Growing up near Toledo, it’s WILD to see that as a national brand. It was just our area pizza place.

I loved Marco’s when I lived in OKC. Can’t find it within 90 minutes here.

I used to live a block off Woodward Ave
This thing takes up the whole week now with noise, traffic, helicopters
I used to have alternate ways to come home from work since the freeway exits were blocked off and a lot of businesses on Woodward closed for the week
People sit on the sidewalk in their lawn chairs to watch these things all day long
God bless them if they enjoy it but I don’t get it

Interesting that you brought up Woodward Avenue.

My great-grandfather's house was on Catalpa west of Woodward, and Berkley High School now occupies that site.
My grandparents are buried in Roselawn Park Cemetery, which is at 12 Mile and Woodward.
When my dad was growing up, he lived about a mile west of the State Fairgrounds, which were at the corner of Eight Mile and Woodward.
He caddied at Detroit Golf Club during high school, at Seven Mile just west of Woodward.
I was born at Beaumont Hospital, which is on 13 Mile west of Woodward.

So mom and dad went to a concert Sunday where a guy impersonated Glenn Frey, who grew up in Royal Oak, who recorded a hit song for "Beverly Hills Cop" starring Eddie Murphy, who wore a Mumford High T-shirt in the movie, where dad graduated from high school in 1953.

But that's pure coincidence, not Pure Michigan.
