Star Wars does have a more narrow foundation. There were plenty of characters they could have pulled from the old novels, but they decided to toss all that out and rush into those discombobulated sequels.

They would have been much better off using all those novels as source material.

First Avenger is probably the worst of the Captain America movies, but it's still very good. I think it is the best solo series in the MCU, though Civil War is a bit of a cheat. It really is Avengers 2.5. The Winter Soldier is right there with Iron Man as the best solo movie in the MCU. It is tough to compare the two because they are so different.

The MCU is still printing money, but I do believe it has lost something with Downey and Evans gone.

Think about this — the MCU is roughly 35 movies deep (counting the Disney+ series as one "movie" each) and they still haven't introduced perhaps the company's best villain (Dr. Doom), one of its other major villains (Galactus), two of its most well-known super teams (the Fantastic Four and X-Men), and either haven't included or barely touched on several other iconic heroes (Daredevil, Punisher, Silver Surfer).
    That is absolutely remarkable.
That fucking Black Bolt has gotten more screen time than Dr. Doom and the MCU hasn't flinched is astounding in and of itself.

One key is going to be doing it right when they do bring in Dr. Doom. Fox failed in both attempts, with the Fan4stic version being absolutely horrible. There is just so much more they can do. I'm guessing that instead of using Secret Wars to bring so many existing characters together, they may use it to launch many of the new one they hadn't gotten to yet.

Orange Cassidy should be your new Human Torch / Johnny Storm. This is the only casting suggestion I have so far.

I think there was a tiny bit of it in the previous trailer, but this clearly shows that She-Hulk will be breaking the fourth wall as she has often done in the comics, going back well before Deadpool.

I read something about this on Facebook, and it is a good point. There have been three MCU movies and three Disney+ series since Eternals. I'm a little fuzzy on the chronology, but I think the events in at least some of those, if not all, occur after Eternals. That leaves me wondering how the hell nobody talked about the giant, dead Celestial sticking out of the Earth. Sure, crazy shit happens in the MCU, but I think that one would be worth at least a comment by somebody, right?

Perhaps it happened in another multiverse other than the last few movies that it's been in?

I am fairly certain that everything we've seen in the MCU is in that universe, with the exception being some parts of Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

I'd never heard this commentary by Stan Lee before, but it's great.

    Deserted island.

And if that sparked Kamala, then it’s only been out for a couple weeks.

They also mentioned Thanos but not the Scarlet Witch or multiverses.

That makes more sense. Much of Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness happened in places hidden from the rest of the world or in other universes. Sure, Dr. Strange and Wong took on a monster in New York, but they have seen some crazy shit in New York in the MCU.

It just seems like something that could have been handled with a quick comment.
