He's such a miserable stiff, he probably doesn't even own a regular shirt to wear to a golf tournament.

Bedminster would have been a very strong course for a major. Sorry, Donald.

With all the money they have been spending on past their prime golfer, don't you think LIV golf - or maybe some of the overpaid drivers would try to buy some good publicity by donating (anonymously) to some effort that most of their critics truly care about? Maybe something easy like the largest donation to hunger programs, or drug treatment programs

Actually, they are. LIV donated a million bucks to local causes in Portland and at Bedminster donated a million (I think) to accessible golf and STEM programs. But you're not gonna hear about it unless you watch the broadcasts or follow LIV twitter, as the media's not likely to help much.

A million to "feel-good" local charities is fine, $10 mil to help clean-up Portland's streets and provide transition housing to the homeless would have moved the needle. Shoot, $5 mil to Planned Parenthood or NARAL would have been worth A1 in Portland. It's not like the Tour is much better, dropping 20 percent or so of the gate to local charities - who have to volunteer and staff the event in order to get their cut. Imagine if the Big Four leagues could write off their game staff payrolls as a charitable donation?

I don’t think the Saudis are trying to be lovable to everyone. I think they are trying to be acceptable to the rump faction they expect to be ruling America for years to come.
