At least the Dodgers didn’t get him.

Well at least the Padres will once again go all-in and set up to be major disappointments again.

And what QT said, wish the Giants would do some kind of big move. Oooh we got Kris Bryant on a rental!!!! Yeah how about making a move that is actually helpful with a guy I’ve actually heard of who plays for more than a cup of coffee to allow Farhan to once again have the most transactions in MLB while going through everyone’s options like it’s a fire sale.

More? It’s still the same two teams at the top of the division and the Pads are not catching LA. Woo, they are cementing the second wild card!!!

    (Sorry angry Giants fan)

Well, if nothing else, this might be cause to head out to City Island and watch the Harrisburg Senators at some point. It's been quite a while now since that's been worth it.

Hey don't pah-pooh 2019 so fast. Wife is from the DC area so our family became Nats fans and that was a really thrilling ride. Soto, Rendon, Turner, Scherzer, Strasburg, Corbin, Martinez in the dugout. Doolittle and that other guy in the bullpen. I waited for 47 years to see SF win.

Padres are not catching a Dodgers team who still has 9 against be Giants, 8 against the D-Backs and close with 6 at home to the Rockies (for some reason). Granted they still have Division-leading Mets, Brewers and Twins plus the Cardinals and go head-to-head with the Padres. But I don’t care what sucker’s bet they give you, Padres are not catching the Dodgers.

Now World Series is anyone’s bet because there’s no guarantee the best teams win, but miss me with this “Padres are back” nonsense. They are the Texas football of the MLB.

He’s not a rental, he isn’t leaving after this year.

Of those, we saw Rendon and Strasburg, 35 Soto at-bats and 41 Turner at-bats come through AA. It's a lot easier to drive 15 minutes than three hours. :)
