All these Republicans are saying: “If they can do this to the (former) President of the United States they can do this to anybody.”
Well, if the President breaks the law that’s kinda the point

I notice that Trump has not released a copy of the terribly unjust search warrant he was served with...

 

Read somewhere that this is likely to speed up Trump’s timeline for announcing he’s running again, which means it would land in time to hang it on the necks of Republicans in races this fall like a dead fish.

 

And those same Republicans are vowing revenge......for a legal law enforcement action taken against an absurdly lawless individual.

 

I've never understood this line of thinking. Whoever's supporting him is supporting the R candidates.

 

Yes, but how many of those Republicans in districts that aren’t already solid red would rather be talking about Trump than inflation or school controversies or whatnot?

 

There are a lot of independents who will not vote for him again, and a lot of R's who won't either, who want him to shut up and go away.
