Love Del Mar. Where the surf meets the turf.

For an awesome breakfast, find Hash House a Go Go. They're in a few states but the original's in San Diego.

Only been to San Diego once, but hit Don Bravo for tacos while I was there and it was the shit.

    Torrey Pines, end.

There's a place on El Cajon Blvd. (I think) near SDSU called Smashburger. No need to go to In n Out.

Over on Coronado at Sunset Park you can park your car and walk over to North Beach Dog Park and you are directly under the flight path of the arriving fighters and usually can watch SEALS training.

Appreciating the tips. We’re doing San Diego next year for vacation.

Ok first meal was a dud.

I was up at 1:30 EST this morning and got to SD at 11 am local time. Got an early check in and was desperate for lunch.

Right by my hotel is apparently the place where they shot the Top Gun scene when Goose is playing Great Balls of Fire.

    Avoid. Holy cow avoid.

I mean come on alleged BBQ people. You guys know that ribs cooked in an oven are easy to detect, right? or is this some sort of California thing where they make BBQ but impart absolutely zero smoke flavor?
