2. The problem with what Texas is doing is the migrants get no say in it. Perhaps they have family - legal or even full US citizens - in Dallas. Or Arkansas. Or Las Vegas. I know Texas has voter supression and gerrymandering down to a science, but it still baffles me that a state where the Dems actually have a small registration edge is SO deep red in its politics.
