John Skipper pretty much dismissed any notion of Disney selling ESPN any time soon in July.

Although Apple or Amazon could buy it with the spare change in their front pocket and Astroturf their sports coverage on their streaming service.

Can he still shoot a soccer ball on goal AND make the save? Now THAT'S fitness!

My pick to win our state amateur championship didn’t make match play.

That same kid just reached the quarterfinals of the U.S. Amateur.

    Golf is goofy and amazing.

Every single summer, in covering the North & South Amateur, I am reminded at how narrow the margins are in competitive golf. In the last 10 years, I can probably name about 10 Tour pros, including winners and a major champion, who didn't advance in the N&S.

I’ll shout him out here. It’s Alex Price. Plays DIII golf at Christopher Newport and gets amped to play matches against DI kids for obvious reasons. Beat WAGR 43 and 20 today, Georgia Tech and Florida. He’s 1212 in WAGR. He was looping for his dad at a US Senior Am qualifier last week and I asked dad how fired up they were for Ridgewood. Dad was of course looping for son this week. Great story and a big reason I love being in this business.

That's awesome. Definitely will look for him this weekend.

Just realized the U.S. Am is at Cherry Hills next year.

I’ve always loved Fred Couples, but when he came out last week and said that people haven’t liked Norman in 25 years…….that’s a whole other level of respect there.

Dan Hicks is so bland and boring, he makes my morning oatmeal look like steak fajitas.
