Eh... I kind of get the feeling that if she was lighting the world on fire behind the scenes, they would have kept her. It's not like Rudd is a nobody who has no sway here. She's also two inches taller than Rudd, so maybe that would be an issue for a whole movie. That being said, she sure looks more like a Rudd-Greer daughter than Newton.

I liked the height thing, but that was a connection to the comics. Her abilities are going to work differently in the movies.

She-Hulk was so much fun. And make sure you watch the post credit scene. It’s an all-timer.

Yeah, the same kind of folks have been attacking it on Twitter for weeks. The first trailer with the bad CGI got them fired up, but they had their minds made up even before that.

I think I'm going to have to duck out of this thread for a few days. I'm waiting for my daughter to make time to watch the first episode with me, and that probably won't happen until next week.

Yeah, She-Hulk was funny and fun. I know nothing of the character, but the first episode really covered a lot of establishing ground.

I assume Ruffalo's Hulk won't be in it nearly as much going forward. Not his show, I get that, but it some ways it's too bad. The first Hulk movie was bad. The second was pretty good but then Ed Norton was out. Ruffalo's version kinda had its own movie with Thor, but never a real stand-alone.

Ruffalo got the role when Ed Norton decided he didn’t want to be part of a monster franchise … wonder if he ever regretted that decision?

Considering the types of movies he's made since then, probably not. When he looks at his bank account and could probably add about $25 million to it, probably

That is one version of what happened. Another is that Disney/Marvel didn't want to put up with him going forward. Also, there were rights issues with the character, which is part of why we have only seen Hulk in team movies or projects focused on other characters.

I love how they embrace in the filming Maslany’s size and how important that is to her controlling her power.

Also, the shoes she wears are meant to make her seem taller. I think the shoes she wears might be symbolic.
