Elvis was supposed to play in Hartford 45 years ago today, but you know, died. The joke was he couldn’t stand returning to CT.

If anything is going to "default" as Pennsylvania's state fair, it would be Bloomsburg. Helluva great day of fun. But I'm sure there will be a lot of Doug Mastriano fans floating around there this year.

Wrap a brick in brown paper. Tape the post paid envelope in the address position and drop it in a mailbox.

Even though I’ve never contributed to a GOP candidate, I get at least a few calls a week from a candidate or a national committee to contribute (nothing like the literally hundreds of e-mails a day from the Dems). What I do when I’m bored is ask if I need special permission to make a very big donation and that I’d love to go to some VIP events. At some point they transfer me to someone up the food chain and when I start to give my information, I then proceed to curse them out. Juvenile, but it makes me smile.
