    That’s Katie Pavlich of Town Hall, who is a member of the DAR
    Her name appeared on the cover of National Review with a number of prominent Republicans under the headline NEVER TRUMP
    Many of those named kept that pledge but Katie switched to a Trump apologist quicker than you can say Fox News contributor

    My favorite part of that clip was that as Kusnher went through his bullshit, he said. ... "I just think you have to be very careful about what you read, and obviously, just wait for the facts to develop."

    I get that he's not a polished communicator (he's actual a nothing of a person). But he inadvertently summed up Trump.

    The facts are the facts. They aren't fungible things. But instead of "wait to learn the facts," it was "wait for the facts to develop." Like when the actual facts are damning, develop different facts.

    But you didn't have to lover her or think that she had had some magic transformation. She did what she should have, at least one time. We don't have to suddenly love these people for doing the right thing, once. Just like we don't have to hate people we have always admired if they wore blackface 25 years ago. People are about much more than one or two acts in their life, we must judge on more than that.

    Licht has a pretty good rep from his time at MSNBC, CBS and Colbert's show - curious how he's going to make CNN "work" both ratings wise and journalistically. I think CNN would be fine if they designated their gasbags as gasbags and their journos as journos - which Fox News at least acknowledges atleast. CNN tries to have it both ways - or at least tried to have it both ways with their primetime lineup.
