I am of 3 minds about the loan forgiveness. First, I’d rather than these things been done through Congress rather than by Executive Order. Second, the cost of higher education is significant problem in this country, especially given the fact that those taking out the loan often don’t really have any other options and this form of relief is a very good thing and not that expensive. Third, I am a little resentful/jealous that I saved to pay off my loans.

 

Well, let’s see, one is meant to terrorize immigrants. One is financial in nature and meant to provide relief. So, yeah, I’m OK with one and not the other. Sue me.

 

Or just say that the students getting their loans cut down or waived just makes them smart.
