I expect indictments in multiple jurisdictions, perhaps coordinated with the indictment of others in his loop.

Trump in DC for the documents (they were stolen in DC); and in Atlanta for trying to throw the Georgia vote count.

Graham in Georgia as an accomplice.

Various Trump lawyers for obstruction of justice re: documents.

In NY state court, various Trump family members for financial crimes, Trump included.

That would make for, to use John Chancellor’s phrase, a very busy news day.

 

I can't sleep but fuck if I am looking up that Time issue.

It's ballooned to the point where Orange Jumpsuit Julius has to go down for something. Anything. There are just too many irons in the fire, supported by the primest of prima facie evidence. Where do we start?

Trump and his Trumplets flooded the zone with shit, and now the shit is flooding back.

 

I really hate the narrative that the big bad government is "ganging up" on him because....politics. For a lot of reasons, I think it might have been best to put him under federal custody - make it a club fed I don't care - immediately following the seizure of the files due to the possibility that he was a flight risk and he may still be able to communicate sensitive information to foreign operatives. I'm sure some people figure "if what he did is so bad, why is he walking around free."

 

At this point, if he's a flight risk he isn't running for president. So let him fuck off to Riyadh or Budapest or Moscow. Winner winner goulash dinner.
