The Cherries popped someone. That's like man bites dog.

Watford wins at the death yesterday to stay near the top of the table in the Championship. Better yet, there's legit hope that Sarr and Joao Pedro will stick around at least until the winter transfer window. It's clear the Pozzos aren't just going to give them away for the sake of it, which is good. Their head seems to be in it.

At the bottom of the table, Coventry has only played three times because their pitch is such utter rubbish that it's unplayable and games keep getting postponed. They blame the rugby team which with they share the field.

This is a good read, about the Afghan women's soccer team upon the return of Taliban rule.

This is bias on my part and I need to do better. But it still astounds me to hear the guy in the next booth breaking down tactics in the Merseyside Derby in the type of central Alabama blue color accent I associate with my car mechanic or exterminator.

It's the cackling that makes the call truly worth savoring.

New owners always want to put their markers down. Not sure why they didn’t do it before the window closed.

That’s what you get for not playing Pulisic!

I’ve gotten a lot of “what does that mean for The Kid?” texts this morning.
